Leaders don’t always get to plan change. In fact, more than ever, change gets suddenly thrust upon leaders and it’s “adapt or die” time.

This course provides an action plan—it’s about meeting leaders where they’re at in the moment of sudden, emergent change. It teaches the most important things for leaders to quickly focus on to produce the biggest impact and how to establish a sense of control in so doing.

The learner is introduced to the three most important categories of activity they must engage in when leading sudden change, how to exude the most helpful, productive ”vibe” as a leader of change, and how to build the five core competencies of change leadership—the skills most vital to being a successful leader of sudden change. The course pulls from plenty of real-life examples of leaders navigating sudden change.
